LAMDA MA Classical Acting Graduate

In 2019, I moved to London to pursue an MA in Classical Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. It was an amazing yet fully challenging year. While at LAMDA, I took classes in Laban, Contemporary Scene Study, Pure Voice, Applied Voice, Stage Combat, Pure Movement, Historical Dance, Accents (certified in standard RP), Shakespeare Scene and Monologue study as well as performed in a productions such as A Mid Summer Night’s Dream scene study, Margaret of Anjou, La Dama Boba, The Broken Heart, The Man of Mode, and King Lear. Not only did I grow as an actor, but I also grew as an artist and collaborator. My other LAMDA colleagues and I participated in a number of projects and workshops where we were taught to use what we learned in classes and apply it to producing, analyzing, and creating theatrical content. I will cherish my time at LAMDA, and I hope to move back to London soon!
